Artisanal cidermakers Terry and Judith Maloney are just starting to bottle their latest batches of hard cider, and we were lucky enough to get this early sample pack. So far we’ve only broken into the Kingston Black, a wild-yeast cider that John (resident cidermaker and tasting expert here at WHQ) says is superb. “Great mouthfeel,” was his first comment. “Yummy,” was my comment. It’s blended with 30% Golden Russet, another great apple. Run, don’t walk, to their website, and figure out how to order yourself some. (My other fav is Redfield, and not just because the natural color of the apple’s flesh turns it a lovely pink.)
